Air elementals in elemental forge
holy crap these guys hit hard, I cast arcane ward and air ward before engage and they still practialy 1 shot most of my party, not even unconsious straight up dead. Now the light elementals on the other side were easily dealt with. Are these air elementals supposed to be harder than the other mobs in this dungeon and something im supposed to come back to?

lol yeah, i had encoutered that same problem, they do one-shot my party when i first had acces to the forge. But they become tissue paper when you revist them with a few promoted characters.

when i first got to the forge, i cleared everything out except for those air elementals, just revist them when you acquire the appropriate shard.

my party setup

blademaster
paladin
warmonger
elder druid (their healing over time spells are ridiculously powerful)

yea I just finished the earth part of the forge I didnt realize it was a dungeon your going to revist a bunch of times. Earth boss was a piece of cake with the fire magic spell that makes your party immune to paralyze. loving this game

ok Im level 25 and have done everything else, and I mean everything I can possibly do to get points; and I'm still getting a butt kicking

I shot 1 Elemental with my bow from range 6 and lured him back around the corner. Surprisingly, only 1 came. Easy with a Ranger. WIthout that tactic I could only assume Ward of Air, Celestial Armor would help, as well as actually putting points into Vitality.

You can force them into melee. They are a little less effective in melee. Go forward until you get their attention. IMMEDIATELY move back and around the corner. Use some long-terms buffs (wards are a good idea, maybe a regen or an eagle eye). Wait until they reach melee range. Then kick their ass as quickly as you can while staying alive. Surprisingly the air boss is easier than his flunkies.
Did that fight around L20, think only Blademaster had promo.

Air Ward, Arcane Ward, Celestial Shield - move a sq

Prob every 2nd step you need to reapply Celestial and pop regen.

Once in melee, they die fast. (or you can try and lure like SJ)

I really only had one decent ranged attack until Mage hit Arcane Master lol (Rune Priest fireball)

i had no troubles with the elementals, perhaps your mage has too low air skill. My mage's air ward increases air resist about 20. Plus my party wears protective rings and drunk resistance increasing potions. Some of them have skill increasing resist. All of them had resist 34-63. You can also use celestial armor and liquid membrane to reduce damage. Regeneration help too.
It was the lower difficulty. I kicked ass of their elemental boss with ease too.
