Quest: The Lost Lambs
For anyone that has spared Luke, have you seen any far reaching impact of this?

I was too weak to kill him when I first encountered him, and decided to reload, save the kill/save choice for later. Would like to know thoughts on which is the best course of action there.

Feel free to hijack this thread for discussion on other aspects of the quest.

Explore the world map near the lighthouse. When you get to the "Shadowy Woods" (or something along those lines), you're on the right track.

If you're having trouble finding the second level of the hideout (which is where Luke resides), look out for hidden paths on the walls.

Yes, 2nd level I cannot find. I found two hidden paths early on that open chests, but nothing else.

one is a chest and then the other was a lever to open a door

Check the second room in the dungeon that you unlocked with the key - I think it's also the room with a readable book. In that room there should be a hidden path which opens up the second level.

If all else fails, walk around the dungeon till one of your party members says "Wait, there's something here" - or something along those lines, and face each of the walls in that room till you find it.

(Though take heed, in my version at least they still exclaim about something being hidden when you've already opened up the hidden path in that location)

was wondering if this has any impact either. story wise after what the itinerant trader says i wanted to let him go. power gamer in me wanted to kill everything in the game that can be.

Ha. My eternal dilemma as well. I kept him alive - I'll report back here if I ever see any impact to that choice.

I've already let Luke and Ripley go. Luke I felt sorry for. Ripley seems to be a total douche, but I figured it would be better to be consistent with all three brothers.

When I replay with a new party I think I'm going to put them down see if there is a difference. Hopefully someone will post by then as well.

I killed all 3 and the mother gave an unrepentant story but nothing else happened.

Interesting. I'll report back with my findings once I finish this quest eventually.

I spared all 3 and I'm nearing the end of the game, nothing related to them is mentioned at all outside of the quest. Maybe they fell into oblivion when they walked through those walls when let go.

The choices you make are mentioned at the end of the game. Besides that, I couldn't find a benfit or drawback to either decision.

Thanks for the responses folks - I guess I shouldn't have expected much more than that...

Yeah I finished the game and they mentioned about that quest in the epilogue. Apparently killing Ripley is the best, but the other two not. But I killed all 3 so....

Also I got both positive and negative Haart ending. Must be a bug.

Interesting. I ended up re-loading and killing Ripley after I let him go and read his release dialogue. Just gotta trudge back to Sorpigal and turn the quest in now, and then see how my epilogue goes once I get around to finishing the game.
