but you can also search the store for grid-based dungeon crawlers
The world in this game is flat. 4 (Cloud of Xeen) is on one side, 5 (Darkside of Xeen) is on the other. When you have them both it gives you "World of Xeen". You'll get more dungeons that involve going between both worlds for a third and final game.
It's dated though. But still fun if you give it a try and want to get into it.
It's available in a pack on GOG.
But there is a slightly different game with an isometric design, but the combat is the same first person

I noticed you never got Fall of the Dungeon Guardians from that bundle that was suggested. I played it and I enjoyed it and can also recommend it. It seems to be on sale now for just $8 which I think is definitely worth. Just keep in mind English isn't the dev's first language so you will have to forgive some of the grammatical awkwardness.
I also played Dungeon of Dragon Knight from that bundle and that one I DO NOT recommend. I can't remember exactly why I hated it, but I do remember trying to voice my complaints on the forum and the dev banning me lol

Does anyone here have any other suggestions? In that bundle only "The Quest" seems to me like it's comparable since all the others are Dungeon-only Crawlers.
I also tried Wizardry 7+8 and even got Lands of Lore 2+3 but even with my growing tolerance for aged graphics these give me a headache. Ironically the older games like M&M4+5 and LoL 1 that have graphics that we today would call "Pixel Art" have aged much more gracefully than the early "3D-style" ones.
Aaaanyway, if anyone has suggestions for games like M&M4+5 that would be awesome!
I'm not giving it a recommendation. It was only good if you liked Might and Magic 4 and 5 and if you're willing to think it's good. It just scratches an itch.

A 2nd one is coming and has a demo.
Nah. Don't care much for the JRPG-style, also Dungeon-only is not my thing.
Does look interesting, thanks!
Will definitely give it a try. Appreciate it!

Thanks! I'll give Operencia a try. I found The Quest nice at first but after two hours I simply found it lacking in depth and complexity. Also, compared to M&M4+5 it's just plain ugly
