Poison prevention
What makes me more resistant to poison? Earth resistance? This is sheet annoying...

Earth resistance will help a little, but it doesn't significantly reduce the odds of getting poisoned in the first place (It's either a flat percentage chance per attack of some monsters, while others do a special attack that automatically inflicts it.)

If you don't have a earth magic caster, stock up on antidotes (which are fairly plentiful drops early on, so you won't run out for a while).

Ah, that's too bad.

What about the poison immunity gear that the shops frequently stock? Are there a lot of poison-using end-game mobs? I'd rather have something else on my gear, but it is damn annoying to constantly lose turns to cure poison or drink antidote.

You don't have to heal poison right away. If your offense is good enough you can finish the fight first, then heal. As your HPs keep growing, poison should become less and less of an issue.

I am at level 25 or so, and I am discovering this now. On the other hand, I am getting killed by Feeblemind or whatever spell that black mages cast. Sure, I can pot, but at Warrior difficulty, they are very expensive. I think I am going to swap out the poison gear and get some clarity gear - if they exist...

Or is there something else I should be more worried about later?! :(

By the way, weren't you the dude who answered all my Shadowrun questions? It seems like we share similar gaming interests ;)

There are rings amulets and armor that provide 100% immunity to these things. In my last playthrough I had a brigantine of remedy (medium armor 100% protects against poison) and an amulet of clarity that protected 100% against feeblemind. You definitely want an item that does that for all your casters.

Just in case newer players are interested: Ultimately I found poison resistance item unnecessary. The only place where it may be close to a "must" is the final level of the final dungeon - where you are literally AoE poisoned every turn for much of the run. But that annoyance can be entirely short-circuited by killing Erebos the first turn you fight him near the entrance, and a good party should be able to do this - no matter the configuration.
