sliding + jump = boost in tutorial

I try to slide and jump but I can not build enough speed to cross that gap in the new Tutorial map.. what is going on?

I have always-run. I go (run) forward, jump, ctrl on landing and hold ctrl to slie, then space and ctrl at same time ,but no big speedup, not enough to cross that gap

Yea I installed the game to try it out, looked fun, but couldn't get past this part. I then uninstalled. If I can't do this tutorial i probably don't stand a chance anyways. If it's just messed up then they lost a potential player and they should probably fix it.

lol no, you absolutelly do NOT need that thing to work to play the game.

Yeah, slide jumping is a bit of a tech, but there's really not too much of a skill floor to the game. Melee weapons are where it gets weird.

First of all, I suggest toggling the reverse sprint bind option in the settings so you don't have to hold shift all the time.

Then, sprint at the ledge. Right as you reach the very edge, hit Ctrl and then Space in very quick succession (in that order.)

aim and shoot lol, just gotta be mindful of the speed sliding and jumping gives regardless of how much air u get

Its not too hard. I just got the game and the first time i tried it in practice arena i could clear gaps like it was nothing
