is the qC05 over tuned?
the new 15 round mag 3 spare mag assault rifle feels like its time to kill is off compared to the other guns. don't get me wrong it feels great to use, but it feels closer to a AK or AR(guns that usually require a bit of risk to get to), on the maps it seems to be placed more like a pistol or revolver where you can grab it right from the get go,and because of the reserve ammo I basically never need to pick up another gun.

also (and this is probaly just placebo) I feel I hit my shots a lot more than I do with the AK or AR the recoil and spread seems much tighter than those guns.

maybe I just haven't played with the other guns on the map enough yet.

its got no recoil so its easy to just point center mass and the drag to the head while shooting for near-instant kills. I agree it feels very op, but since it only appears on levels where both players have access to it (or to other good guns), i dont think its really a problem. A lot of the time the other option on the map is the FG42 which can 1-shot headshot so it becomes kind of a skill test to decide if you wanna go for that or not.

The ak has pretty hefty recoil and is mostly just good if you can land a headshot for a quick kill.

The ar is pretty low recoil and is better than the ak imo.

Compared to those, I think the qC05 is supposed to have less recoil than the ar, but be held back by having to reload the thing, but I really dont find that to be much of an issue.

Most of the new guns from the January Update are very powerful compared to the old weapons.
The Hill 15 is a better SMG, the FG42 is a better Smith Carbine, the Webley is a better Revolver and the Katana is a better Flamberge.
The balance comes from the powerful weapons being on the same maps as eachother. The qCW05 can be found alongside guns like the Rocket Launcher, FG42 and Bukanee, which are all very high power weapons.

didnt even consider this but actually makes a lot of sense.
I'd cut the damage by half, or 2/3. The maps with this gun are fun simple arenas but go way too quickly since its over in like 3 shots to the midsection.

I don't think the weapon vs weapon balance really matters in this game. The thing is, weapons are intentionally more or less powerful than each other and players always start on even ground with each other and have access to the same weapons as each other. Part of the 'balance' is in the weapon placement on maps, which is equally accessible to both players anyway because of the symmetrical natures of the maps and starting positions (most of the time).

That aside, I still feel like picking up the FG on maps where both it and the QC are available at the same time.
It's not really that it's too strong vs other weapons, that's fine, there are maps with the smg and the minigun in the same room. It's more that it's has such a low time to kill that the maps with it go by too fast.
