I don't think so. Matches would be shorter, if that's even possible, but the chaos would be fun for some people. The maps are big enough for 2v2, and some maps are large enough a 4FFA would be alright. I don't see this game ever catering to full team deathmatch numbers beyond that, though. Nor should it.
