Any way to change a seed after planting?

Maybe this comes up further in, but I'm realizing that seed placement is a huge mechanic and that my "plant 'em if you got 'em" method is a bad idea as I hit my third loop - any way to remove a planted tree so another seed could be planted in that spot?

Yeah, you'll get an extractor power that lets you dig up planted seeds.

I can’t use the extractor power. Think I’m on my 4th run. It shows the extractor in my inventory under the start menu. But it’s not available where you can actually select it to use under the RB menu. Been wondering for hours. I remember getting the ability to knock out the areas with the swirling black fog in the last run. But it did not come back for the next run. I am so lost and annoyed and certain my game is soft locked

The extractor thing is SUPER unclear. The ability to get through the black fog is actually tied to breaking one of the shamans coffin things and not the extractor itself. You'll mostly only want to get through them on the way back to the Ultros room, at least for the first half dozen hours of the game.

Thanks - I unlocked Trimmer and Digger yesterday so now I can get myself back on track - if I can get unstuck in Infinity Lake... stuck without my extractor and don't see any viable paths out at this point lol

For the static/blurred fog, it seems to only want to activate when I have Digger selected - no idea if that's intended or a bug

The removal of the fog doors is not tied to your tools It is tied to the biological network

If ur still stuck, the good news is that part is supposed to be done without the extractor, and ends with you getting back to the ultros room!

They also open with an extractor with a black aura after killing a shaman.

For my part, before asking questions, I discovered the game, and some people come straight up and ask if we can replant later! , discovery is what enriches the game and not discovering a nugget of this kind might as well move on and play another game, gentleman who asks if we can replant....
