Books, Glasses, and generally rare items

Good day, all. Been burning my way through this game recently, and I'm left with two unattained achievements that deal with item collection. I turn to you all for advice on where to find them. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Shop Hipster - Missing books and glasses

Hoarder - At a total of 92 unique items of the necessary 100. Books and glasses will bump it up to 94, but not enough. Any suggestions on where some of the more rare stuff may be, or perhaps on the means to collect them?

My own idea is to take a character like O'Grady with his Pickpocket perk and just pound my way through the game repeatedly. ...But that sounds like a massive grind. I guess the stronger he gets, the faster the stages will go. However, if I had some idea of the most rare items and what stages/enemies they drop from, it might make my task that much easier.

I've done some google searching, but I haven't yet found a complied list of all the items in the game. It's too bad... it would make comparing & contrasting what I have versus what I need a simpler task. Suffice to say, if you've got a ne'er oft collected item and can remember where it came from, I'd love to know.

The items that were meant to be hidden in the game are the 4 Crypt Keys, The Dog Show Ticket, The Arcade Ticket, the key to Leaker's house, and etc... Do you have these?

Books and glasses will bump it up to 96, and I think I've heard that ladies can drop a hand mirror. So... three more? Knowing / remembering where any potential items I've missed may be the biggest issue, but I'll leave it up to whoever chooses to compare their lists to my own.

Thanks, Player, but I *think* I've gotten just about all the special items (unless the glasses are on that list). Feel free to check the above to see if there are any glaring omissions that I should have found during my travels!

Ladies also drop Hair brush, hair dryer and the hand mirrors, I remember I found glasses on the cultist area, the strippers drops roses and some woman acessories too.

BTW the yellow ladies in the area were a militia tries to help you and are killed by the milkman, they drop these acessories rather easy(in a rare drop sense).

If memory serves correctly (which is less often than I'd like), I believe I got my wine from those yellow ladies in Downtown, as well. Seeing as I'll be running them for the hair dryer and hand mirrors, I'll confirm or renounce my suspicions when I'm done.

Thanks for the help, especially on the books and glasses. Altogether, these four items will get me to 98... so I'm still left randomly wandering the streets hoping for some good luck on those last two. Something tells me ninjas and nazis are some of the more irregular enemies that I need to defeat for some rare drops, with robots a close third. We shall see. Too bad I'm splitting my game time with two other games at the moment...

Weel for robots I only found books, but did you get something(rare) from the boy band?
Also do you have the coffe machine?

Pimpin'. Just nailed these last two achievements, so Fist Puncher is 100% done!

Note 1: I had no clue that there were four different books that could drop from the robots. That was immensely awesome to discover for the purpose of getting 100 unique items.

Note 2: Cultists drop sunglasses. Went and killed a few dozen of these dudes and ended up being pretty disappointed.

Note 3: Glasses are dropped by... robots. How handy that they've got both the glasses and books on them.

My loot list is now at 105, so I guess all I'm missing is the hand mirror and hair dryer. ...But eff that noise. This game is pretty meh compared to some classic beat 'em ups, and I'm going to have a location named after me in River City Ransom: Underground. With that arriving in maybe nine months, I can safely uninstall this game and know I've got something better coming in the future.

Regarding the Red Rose, it drops from the Crazy Cat Lady in the Cliffs level.

It also drops from her, but something I found out on this game is that, you only need to find the first drop of an item, that's the only thing unique, once you obtain the first drop almost all characters you beat will have a chance of dropping.
I found wine with the yellow ladies in downton now after obtaining the first wine, i maneged to find wine on different enemies through the game, so only the first drop matters.

I know I've seen electric toothbrushes from, yet again, the yellow ladies in Downtown. If lighting.b is correct -- in that once you find a rare item, it can possibly be dropped anywhere -- my personal experience may not provide the true enemy that drops it.

Edit: An item I notice you're missing is the calculator. I discovered it myself while searching for the four books. You can find it from the robots in the Dracogen Lab.
