kinda strange one game out of all of them gets a sale
how the heck did they get the adultswim publisher to agree
when other developers under them could not get anywhere

well fist puncher devs thankfully got the preorder dlc released before delisting

all kinds of messed up thanks to WB :ALgloomEmoji:

Yeah, Volgarr is now self-published. It was originally an Adult Swim published game, but at some point before the current fiasco Kristofor (the creator) got the publishing rights back (and from what I hear, it was NOT an easy battle to get the rights back). The developers of current Adult Swim games do not have access to set up sales. We have never had access to set up sales and we have never had access to any of the financials. Adult Swim controls ALL of that.

so many downsides with publishers
i remember greenlight days people were jumping at newbie publishers
that would do nothing but take money and not promote or anything
its sad when stuff like this happens, hopefully when you get the rights back things will be smoother

this kinda thing always makes me feel for indie developers
when they create something great
yet you aren't in control sadly

it stinks when you get attached to a publisher that sometimes its a real fight just to break loose
goodluck in the future
