How to change camera angle when spectating in multiplayer?

From watching YouTube videos of people playing on console I see they can switch to a behind-the-player view when spectating their opponent in multiplayer. Supposedly they press in the thumbstick to do this. But for the life of me I can't figure out which key to push to do this on PC. I'm always to the right side of my opponent. I've pressed every key on the keyboard... anyone have any idea?
