Please Respect People Online, Please?
I've had to turn off my chat option and sound when I play, as I play with my 4 year old daughter watching me play. There have been too many times several nasty players use derogatory remarks and words against me as a woman playing with them.

Developers, it would be nice if the chats could be moderated and maybe these players could be kicked off the matches? Am I asking too much for normal people to play without the verbal abuse some players spew out (to both men and women)

my personal opinion is that the internet is mostly X rated as default setting unfortunately so theres that .

i can empathize with your situation but dont think much will change .

Try getting a headset and "test" the waters before letting your daughter listen would be my only tip. Like the poster above mentioned, i highly doubt something will change in that regard.

they should implement a push to talk key...Im guessing because of lame consoles the voice chat is very basic -not many options other than on or off.
i have mine off 80% of the time because of kids making goofy noises and such'

During online golf I long ago learned to turn my sound down at the first sign of immature players. I already know how many people are when unsupervised -- and I don't wish to be reminded. That works okay for me, at least.

Online can be ruff you got to play well or you take heat. Most i have played with don't seem that bad. I got called a clicker and took heat for playing that way, once i did i stated only playing swing. I didn't like being called a clicker.

wgt has a text chat.. i like that a lot more.
I'm not sure why anybody would mind being called a clicker. The three-click method provided in 23 was genuinely good. Is that still available online?

If it isn't still available online, that's the only reason I wouldn't buy this. If it is available online, I will probably buy this soon. I loved 23.

Hey clicker xD
How's the clicking going ?
2K25 got rid of all the clickers in ranked , thankfully.
Preposterous!

Did it occur to anybody that for some handicapped folks, three-click is the only way they can play? I'm not handicapped myself, but I have a friend who is -- and he got a lot of fun out of 23.

When 23 brought three-click to the franchise, it seemed to really succeed -- a LOT of people liked it.

Indeed, I bought 23 BECAUSE like every golf game I'd ever really liked before -- each of which seemed to succeed in the market, too -- 23 finally brought in three-click. And 23 SEEMED to succeed, too. I wonder how the sales figures of 23 and 25 compare? We can already compare the Steam ratings. Could there be a lesson to be found in them? I don't know... I wonder.

If so, why go back to a less-liked past without available full use of three click? Especially since the three-click system in 23 was REALLY well designed and clever. I genuinely don't get it.

I guess for now I'll stick with 23. I'm sure my little purchase won't make a big difference. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way. Who knows?

If something changes and I hear that three-ciick will be (or already is?) permitted for rated games online, I'll want to SNAP up 25. Even if it doesn't have Augusta National (the dream of online golfers like me).
