Game Running So Slow Today 5/27 ???

The game seems to be stuttering greatly today. Anyone else having this problem??

Seems like it's getting worse and worse. Does anyone know of a workaround like a steam network setting, vpn, etc?

even worse to the point now where i just don't enjoy it any more. once i get into a game it's not an issue. but 5 minutes from original splash screen to an online society is stupid

If you haven't already, you can try a DNS flush.

2K also recommends that you use the Google DNS servers.

Don't bother it does not work. Tried this several times. The reason it's happening is because of the amount of player data it is trying to load. The more you progress in Career, the worse it will get.
Make a new character and try it, it won't lag or stutter until you start levelling the player.

False.

I have a character with 5 seasons of play and ZERO lag.

I also have a character I just started and today that one had some lag this morning.

It is a 2k server issue.

This has been going on since 2k21 and is just how the 2k servers are. The same problem happens in the NBA games too.
