You can just buy both though. No law against it.
You must be playing the wrong user created courses then. Everyone that is familiar with the course designing scene knows that user created versions of real courses are the best (and most accurate) courses (even better than their respective official ones). You just need to know what to look for.
There's other courses that I would like to see in the game as well but sadly arent, in that sense EA did a better job with their PGA game.
BUt I cannot play those courses, afaik, in My Career and for me, thats the part I care about.
EA PGA was god-awful. Talk about hollow? That game was lifeless. UI was TERRIBLE. Stuttered like crazy. Some courses looked good but that is all. Weird stocky characters.
I cannot fathom how people prefer EA PGA over this... who needs commentary in a golf game o_O
