The game needs a proper update. Some bugs I noticed.
First of all, AI scoring logic is pretty bad and basic. I've set AI level to 80%, and there is absolutely no variation in scores. Currently playing Q-School for 5th time, and I noticed that first 10-12 players will always have the same score, on all courses. For example on TPC Sawgrass first 10-12 players end with -2, and on Torrey Pines the same number of players ended with E. Very unrealistic, boring and predictable. This bug is introduced in 2K25, as I don't recall seeing it in 2K23, AI scoring was more chaotic and unpredictable (as it should be, like in real life).

Second of all, crowd sounds are hit and miss. To be honest, most of crowd reactions are wrong. GIRs are usually followed by a mediocre applause, which is ok. Hitting the approach shot that ends few feet from the hole, ends with the same kind of meh applause. I even scored one ace, and the crowd reaction was the same. Seriously?
The only positive thing about crowd reactions are the shots that are going towards the hole, so the crowd start getting excited, and do the "aahhhhh" if near miss. That one is realistic.

Also I noticed the bug with AI level selection. Sometimes I want to change the level between the rounds, and it doesn't work. There is even no difference in scores if AI level is changed between the tournaments. For example I've changed from 80% to 85%, and saw no difference. Then I changed to 90%, still same scores. It seems the game reads AI diff. level only before first tournament in My Career, and after that it's locked.

Another bug - I ended the round at 19th place, and I lost 2 followers with the text - "you ended on 25th place", which isn't true. I don't care about followers, it's just that the ranking doesn't match.

Personally I turn off the commentary/crowd, I like to listen to my music while I play this or chat with friends in discord.

As for the AI, try raising the overall difficulty in the settings and not just adjusting the slider. Go to settings, then "opponent difficulty" and set it to Master. Then tab over to "Simulation difficulty" and set the CPU skill slider to 100%. Then reduce both CPU event/round skill deviation to 0%. When starting out the AI were putting up minimal scores. Now I have them doing -10 to -15 a round making it more competitive.

If you're not in the top 10-15 going into the final round, chances are you'll be playing the course early in the day. So your round ended currently at 19th place with other golfers still having to play their round. They probably finished with better scores at the end which bumped you down the leader board to 25th.
