Approach Shot Problems

Every approach shot I try on Pro goes way, way longer than it should.
I had an uphill shot where the hole was placed just a little over half way up the green. The game suggested a nine iron with the marker even with the hole. I dragged the marker down to the bottom of the green and hit normally. I got a perfect/perfect shot and the ball flew over the green in the air! Uphill! At least 50 yards too long! But every approach shot I hit is exactly the same, no exceptions.
If no one can help me correct this, I hope that someone can explain why it's happening. Something to do with attributes, maybe?

I'm using 3 click. How does rhythm effect that?

Do you hold click at the end to match rythm? Or you let go immediately ?

I too am experiencing this. I'm sorry if I appear to be a little slow here, but I'm not sure I understand this "rhythm" concept. When swinging (I use 3 click), I hold left click until it reaches the outer limit of the swing circle, then let go, then click again at both top and bottom. I had switched to pro from pro am, and had trouble with my swing at first, but got to the point where my swing was more or less perfect, but yes, all my approach shots were way too long. Very frustrating. Any input from any of you will be respected and much appreciated. Many thanks and good golfing!

on you very last click hold mouse button down until blue inner circle matches the white
