Why is Swing Stick different in Ranked Matchmaking vs the Driving Range and MyCareer mode?

I play Swing Stick using a mouse and KB. When I'm at the Driving Range or in MyCareer mode the majority of my shots turn out great. Even if my swing is off a lot my shots seem to go mostly where I intended with no troubles. However, when I play Ranked Matchmaking my shots are dramatically effected when my swing is off even just a little bit. Is there a way to make Swing Stick swings act the same at the Driving Range as it does in Ranked Matchmaking?

Online play forces higher difficulties by default, which might explain it. What difficulty do you play on when you play offline?

Hi Spirit of Jazz. My difficulty was set at "Perfect Swing". I changed it to "Master" and that made a ton of difference. Thanks for the help!

Just to let you know when playing “Online” it switch difficulty to “Pro”. That is why you see drastic changes.
