Has anyone else had an issue where you can't get past the screen that thanks you for playing and gives you an activation code to go to https://portal.2K.com/2K/device to link your game for playing online. #1: I haven't even played the game yet, and #2: I do not want to play online so I shouldn't be forced to do this. However, there is no option to get off of this page. It just has a spinner and a 30 minute countdown timer. I have shut it down and restarted it several times. I just don't want to have to uninstall, etc unless I just can't play it. Thanks! :)

Have you tried playing the game in offline mode? That might be a way.

Thank you for you response Zeokage! I should have been clearer about where I was in the game or rather, where I'm not. I just downloaded/installed the demo version and I hit play. It loads and immediately takes me to that page I was referring to. I have no way to get off of the page. I haven't been able to have access to settings and such.I can uninstall it and try again but I have a feeling it's going to do it again. :)

yes it happened to me a few weeks ago when i downloaded the demo, i can not remember what i did to get past it. i know i closed it at least twice and it kept coming back, but i finally got passed it some how but can't remember how. Sorry i am not more help but i was able to play it after.

My guess is that the game does this to link your 2K Account as soon as possible. That's why I suggested checking what happens if you're not connected to the internet when you start the game.
