Patch needed for stability issues.

OK 2K. I want to know if you are working on fixed the crashing issues that a lot of us are having. Will there be a patch coming soon to fix this nonsense? I've tried your work around of turning off the steam controller input. I've tried turning off voice chat as someone suggested. I've turned off the steam overlay. I verified local files. None of this works. The only thing that really seems to help is setting the game to run as administrator. Which actually prevents the game from crashing for a few holes sometimes, but not always. But it still crashes to desktop 2 or 3 times a round. Without doing that, it crashes within 2 or 3 shots.

I might try uninstalling and installing the game again. But I really doubt that will help.

After this, if nothing is forth coming from you, as far as a fix, I will either just play other games, and check once in awhile to see if you have actually done anything about this, or simply ask steam for a refund, as I laid out a lot of money for this game, and I'm getting nothing for it.

Please reply. A lot of us would like to know, so we can make a decision, as whether to hang on for a bit. or just give up, ask for a refund and cut our loses.

Can you list some? I feel like they have been pretty on top of issues. Backswing freeze has been fixed for me. Stat allocation glitch was fixed for me. I haven’t had a crash or disconnect since the Early Access period (not saying it’s not still happening, just saying I haven’t had one in a while).

I have taken Ih8myjob's suggestion and forwarded basically the same information I put in my steam post to 2K support. We'll see what they come up with, and I'll keep everybody with this same issue informed.

Out of curiosity, you're not running a 13/14 gen intel processor are you? If so I can probably tell you what your problem is.

Another statement that shows how little someone knows.


1. If you paid 8000 for a machine, you got ripped off. Even if its CAD, with a 5090. Cpu/mobo/ram/psu/case/fans/drives etc... dont matter. It still wouldn't add up to 8k.

2. Let's say your machine was 8k. That doesn't mean it's impervious to problems and operator error... lol.

3. If youre having connection issues, not crashing, no matter how good your rig is, if you've configured your network poorly and/or are using wifi (which is bad for gaming in and of itself anyway) with a poor signal quality (anyone who doesn't know this also probably doesn't know how to check. Signal strength and signal quality are different) youre still going to have problems.

Since you've exaggerated your rigs price drastically.. is it amd or intel based? If its intel based and you have a 13 or 14 gen cpu, I'd bet a kidney youre suffering from the problems they ALL have and you haven't updated your bios and have fried it.

@IH8myjob-I checked and it's a Intel® Core™ i5-9600KF Processor. It says it is 9th Gen.

Ok. That's good and bad. The good news is it's PROBABLY not your cpu... the issue 13 and 14s have a well know issue (i have 3 13900k's, so I've dealt with it a few times) that I won't go into detail with to waste your time.


The bad news is that widens the field of possibilities.


Id suggest ensuring your bios and chipsets are up to date, (acquired through your motherboard manufacturers website) along with all drivers (gpu, lan, wifi (lan and wifi also done through mb website) the lan and wifi aren't as important for crashing but still good to update while you're there.

IF all that checks out and gets done, checking ram will be the next step


Do you happen to monitor or know how to keep an eye on your cpu temps?

The game crashes every time I turn it on. Doesn't matter what I'm doing, it just crashes after a few minutes. I think Unity has something to do with it. I've had problems with Unity in the past on other games. I'm no PC guru, but I do know my system should be more than strong enough to run the game. Can somebody please help me. Thanks.
