Difference between pro and pro-am?
I've been playing at pro difficulty since game release and at times I found I was nearly pulling my hair out in frustration with the forgiveness zone being very small meaning the shots were either hooked or sliced a lot so I decided to throw in the towel and go down to pro-am.

I cannot see any difference. I am hooking and slicing still even though I have been a smidgen off the sweet spots as in pro.

Either it hasn't switched to pro-am as it states in the settings even though I have started a new event or their is minimal difference between the two

I haven't played anything since pro am (after doing training a lot of training before playing) , slow is smooth smooth is fast. are you using mouse or Controller? Cause with mouse you just gotta glide it does not take a lot of movement. TBH increasing the pooling rate and getting your DPI (use a DPI utility) to dial in your mouse travel, tbh i like longer mouse travel (with hand).

If you are using controller, once you pull back you can almost let the stick reflex back into resting. (you get that nice wack sound with the club)

Honestly on Pro AM im sitll getting full 18s at -7 under. Im not that great of a pga player.

Honestly controller kind of feels more natural then the mouse. ( i know people will prob flame me for that).

In Pro/Am you have no swing bias, draw/fade so you can just pull down up vertically so it is easier.

Pro is the same unless you play online
I have now seen that pro-am gives more forgiveness but not much more. I can play pro fine with my first character. I think the character I am playing with at the moment just needs more upgraded

What do you mean, "Pro is the same unless you play online"? On Pro difficulty you do have a swing bias, you cant just pull down and up vertically.

In Pro-Am you have no angle bias and you have Put Preview. The rest is pretty much the same, both need to be accurate

I've been playing on pro and it is straight up and down. It could be with one of the attributes I have noticed where it makes the bias less drastic. Cannot remember using it though but I must have

Just checked and it must have been this attribute.

Correction: determines natural draw/fade bias severity and swing input angle offset required on Pro difficulty (or higher)

I've got mine set at 57

Still has the offset on pro for online and I struggle with it
pro Am is same as Pro settings from 2k23 and you have unlimited putt previews online now. pro settings use the new evo swing with draw/fade bias

on pro you have to turn 'swing bias' off in settings to make it straight up and down

That may have been the reason too. I cannot remember. I will have to check
