Power Drive skill

I've seen where a lot of people think the powerhouse archetype is the weakest because it makes it difficult to drive the ball accurately. I'm wondering if it's worth getting powerhouse to unlock the power drive skill to then use on another archetype like the technician? Thoughts?

I played technician build almost to maximum and started my second character as powerhouse. With powerhouse I played the worst I've played since The golf Club. I've now deleted the character. Best not start out as Powerhouse

I started my first character as Technician and got him to 90 to unlock pick skill and get the 24 free attribute points to use on any new characters. I plan to use those points primarily on swing path and contact for Powerhouse. I currently have just shy of 4,000 VC in the bank to use on further level ups as necessary. In addition I have a legendary driver to add fittings to without having to worry about losing them if I need to evo the driver. I'm hoping to hear from folks that have unlocked the Power Drive skill and added it to other archetypes like Technician or Magician.
