Trick to earning VC post nerf? Best settings?

Hello. What are the best settings to earn the most VC? Is there something I'm doing wrong? I have to win at least 3 full rounds to get enough VC to spend on ONE attribute point (175 VC per point), and I have about 55 points I can't afford to level up. The rate I'm gaining more attribute points is drastically higher than I'm earning VC, even with the Club pass I bought.

Should I just not focus on my Attributes? It feels awful not being able to level up the points I earned without swiping $60 for VC, and that will only put me close to 75 overall?

Most people play on Pro, and only doing 1 round of 18 holes, right?

Do I stand a chance at online play with a 69 overall? Or should I just keep playing until I level up more?

Just play more till you level up , I'm a 85 overall and got matched with a 65 overall

How many hours do you have played? I'm close to 10 hours, and feel like it is going to take forever. Doing the math, it will take me like 110 hours to get to 75 overall with the attributes I already earned?

Do you consistently have competition against players starting out? Or do you destroy them with an 85?

I'm still learning the EvoStick, and how to putt with various greens. I'm getting a lot better than I used to be.

I have played 31 hrs and have reached 76 overall post VC nerf, without playing any online matches. 110 hrs seems a bit too much. Have you started Career Mode? or are you just playing random rounds? Also have you redeemed any locker codes?

I play myCareer, and am winning consistently. I get 54 VC a round, which takes a half-hour rushed. Upgrading each Attribute point is about 170ish VC. Yes, I am getting a little more VC from quests and my Clubhouse Pass, but in general, 54 VC a round is the most consistent?

I just won't bother worrying about stats anymore and won't grind as much as I probably would. I'll just play for fun for an hour or two a day. Kind of disappointing, but still a good game.

That's all I do, just play for fun and see where it takes me. It is frustrating playing 4 rounds and only increasing one stat, but as long as I am still enjoying it then it's bearable.

You get a huge amount by playing ranked tours...but you will never win or even get close...winning scores are like -85 for 4 rounds but just playing get's a bunch of VC's.

Okay, I'll give it a whirl. -85 for 4 rounds sounds like a bunch of cheaters, but I'll see for myself I guess. I'll get a little better at putting first, and then try. Though that is pretty frustrating to hear people are pulling those kinds of numbers. This might be my last sports game I buy, so sick of being let down. I really should just stick to MMOs and RPGs.

I think i will try that too but if it doesn't help much better I think this game will soon end up uninstalled and binned

Yep, playing ranked tours gives you more vc. I played 2 one rounders and 1 four rounder and gained about 1000 vc. Skill points, I don't know where I can get those. I have 5 skill points and nothing has changed for a while now
