Stuttering or hitching even at high frame rates

I play this game on both a desktop and laptop. I have no issues on my laptop with 11800H and RTX 3060 6GB at 1080p. On my desktop, which is a 7600X and RTX 3080 at 1440p HDR ultra-wide and G-sync, I get hitches or stutters every 0.5 sec or so that mess with motion fluidity and swing stick as well as reading the greens. I get over 100 FPS so it is not due to general performance issues. Sometimes it plays fine for a awhile after a system restart but not often. It make the experience on my nice desktop horrible because of this. Half Brick Studios... Please investigate this issue.

Disappointing. My stuttering seems to have gotten worse.

I did the uninstall/reinstall suggestion, it worked for about a day and then went back to stuttering again. I play just about all the game modes and where I see the stuttering at mostly is single player modes. Ranked play modes doesn't seem to be affected.

For AMD card users, back to driver 24.12.1.
It worked for me.

Yes I have the same issues. It only started up last patch. I have a powerful gaming computer that very rarely stutters on any game. What's going on 2K?

I'm having stuttering and crashes too. can run any game on 4k. Wasn't having these issues before

I didn't update my drivers this time, as it was rumoured that the new drivers (for 9070 and 9070xt) were poorly optimised for older cards....

Have even went back to old vid card drivers and no better. Still stutter on splash screens. Ran better before patch

Same for me, gameplay is stuttering badly now. Hopefully they are monitoring and working to resolve

Freezing and lagging

Who else has been having the issue of freezing and lagging since the new update. I have a pretty heavily built pc and never have any lagging problems. Every since the 3/28 update i cant even get through a full round without it freezing during a shot. Ridiculous

yeah, same here. constant stutters on a high end PC. Makes the 3-click play pretty fuggin difficult

Reinstall the whole game, has helped a lot of other peeps with the same problems after the last big patch .

I only seem to have the stuttering in game and in the menus while playing in MyCareer. I've played countless ranked/unranked matchmaking, online socities, and ranked tours and I dont have the stuttering during any of those modes.

Ryzen 7 5700X3D with a Radeon 7900xt and 64gb 3600 ddr4 ram, installed on an nvme drive.
Running fsr at quality at 1440p and it's doing a lot of stuttering......far worse than before the patch.

Yet another badly optimised Unity game....one can only hope they move away from this awful engine for the next iteration.

Further information : Gpu only pulling 100 ish Watts and is nowhere near 100%, running below 60 degrees celsius
Cpu coasting along at well under 50 degrees celcius so I have no idea where all the lag is coming from.......

Finally, steam is showing I've made a spelling error with Celcius, it's what the majority of the world use....sigh....

Welp............ My low end PC is playing it well.
