Stuttering or hitching even at high frame rates
I play this game on both a desktop and laptop. I have no issues on my laptop with 11800H and RTX 3060 6GB at 1080p. On my desktop, which is a 7600X and RTX 3080 at 1440p HDR ultra-wide and G-sync, I get hitches or stutters every 0.5 sec or so that mess with motion fluidity and swing stick as well as reading the greens. I get over 100 FPS so it is not due to general performance issues. Sometimes it plays fine for a awhile after a system restart but not often. It make the experience on my nice desktop horrible because of this. Half Brick Studios... Please investigate this issue.

had an issue like that... I disabled v-sync and it fixed my issue
I decided to disable G-Sync and it seems to work no problem. Since that was the only difference between my setups it was worth a try. Anyways, it is not cool that i have to remember to disable/enable G-Sync.
in nvidia control panel goto manage 3d setting.... program settings... add - browse to pga2k25 application ... then in settings for pka2k25 under monitor technoloy select fixed refresh.... give that a try and see if it works and hopefully that will only disable g-sync for pga2k25

preformance is dog after latest patch
idk what changed but the last patch has butchered the game for me; constant hitches and stuttering throughout every game and even menus. :steamfacepalm:

surprised to see no one talking about it

Yes I have the same issues. It only started up last patch. I have a powerful gaming computer that very rarely stutters on any game. What's going on 2K?

And why the f does it need to tell me my starter pack bonuses have been unlocked every damn time i start the game ?

i've re downloaded the game , re installed my whole bloody computer , turn off and on gsync , verified game files , tried dx11 , none of it does any good , joke

Performance was ok on launch, then they did a patch was great, now this patch has ill agree some random stuttering or just freezes like its loading assets at the last min. weird. It didn't do this before.

Same issues. Was running good before patch
Yeah can say the whole UI and Menus in the game is now a stuttering and laggy mess for me now too after the update. Fortunately it doesn't seem to effect me on the course or when taking shots.

Same here...
Ryzen 7 5700X3D with a Radeon 7900xt and 64gb 3600 ddr4 ram, installed on an nvme drive.
Running fsr at quality at 1440p and it's doing a lot of stuttering......far worse than before the patch.

Yet another badly optimised Unity game....one can only hope they move away from this awful engine for the next iteration.

Further information : Gpu only pulling 100 ish Watts and is nowhere near 100%, running below 60 degrees celsius
Cpu coasting along at well under 50 degrees celcius so I have no idea where all the lag is coming from.......

Finally, steam is showing I've made a spelling error with Celcius, it's what the majority of the world use....sigh....

Thing is it was actually running well before they fixed whatever.

The menus certainly have started stuttering much more for me as well.
