Bump & Run

In the chipping skills, I activated Bump & Run and all of the associated skill pieces, but I cannot find Bump & Run in the shot selection options? Is it activated somehow or do you have to be a certain archetype? There is nothing mentioned in its description. Anyone else seen anything similar with this shot?

You can only use bump and run with short and mid irons. If your using a wedge, the skill isn't available.

It doesn't show up as a shot selection with any iron. I have tried them all,wedges and all the others.

Have you unlocked it as one of the skills? I think your player has to be at a certain Overall 75 or something around there to unlock it.

Yes I have unlocked it. Otherwise I wouldn't be asking about it. It is just not available as a shot option on any club. Is there a limit to the number of shots that are allocated to a set of clubs? Is it distance locked? Do you have to be a certain distance from the hole to access Bump & Run?

Found the answer....Bump & Run is distance locked from the hole. At about 30 yards it was available to use on the lower irons. It's pretty useless. I picked a shot of about 30 yards and the ball went 45 yards like a rocket, without me over hitting it!

That’s unfortunate, I was wanting to bump and run green side.

the game annoyingly doesnt let the player use certain shots at certain times .

in REAL golf players sometimes use a fairway wood to putt with when the ball is in a certain position esp up against the fringe around the green.
