I agree. Imagine how many saw the price and just moved on without a word though.

Like I said. the die hard golf enthusiasts will buy the game, but they sure are not going to get new people interested in a Golf game for 70 bucks with micro transactions built in.

I mean if you look at it from an hours per dollar rate, I will get a good ROI for the legend edition. Just playing 7 days ahead of the rest of players to get my character level up is a huge advantage online, plus the premium pass for the first 5 seasons is a nice bonus. I didnt care for the free 2k23 as I already have it and put in around 142hrs. I can see me exceeding those numbers with this game, especially as most friends have picked it up as well.

Honestly, it's a bit expensive.

Put the price down a bit so more people buy it.

The only people buying this title right now are likely upper class old men, a shame.

$100 AUD for a golf game which does not seem better or different than the last 3?
Plus the in game purchases?

In my opinion you people could do better.

I will purchase when at 70% off or what not.

that's just the tip of the iceberg. you have to buy the Season Passes every 4 months just to stay competitive because of pay to win elements like needing the paid pass to upgrade some shot types!

Ya I bought 2k23 on sale and was disappointed. $90 for this?... ya hard pass. Casual golf game for $90 is crazy greed. Throwing Tiger on the front to lure more sales.. He's a washed up golfer man....I'll stick to android play store golf games.

2K Games could have been a bit more generous in their pricing. Bearing in mind that according to Wikipedia the parent company Take-Two Interactive in 2024 had total revenues of $US 5.349 billion and have total assets of $US 12.22 billion. So they aren't in the poor house.

You keep hearing about....that is the issue. There is quite literally nothing in the game you have to spend more money on. If you just play the game you will level and earn everything you need. Unless of course you need everything unlocked in a week (which would be a you problem). The game is worth every penny. If you can't get a value out of $60-$70 then I don't really think this type of game is for you. But again, there is nothing that is a must buy once you are playing. Nothing game breaking at all.

I have been playing Golf games since the late 80's i'm old retired i can easily afford it but i'll Waite till it's 1/2 off.

I paid a lot for this game 130 bucks and was expecting a lot more club sets in the game. for 130 dollars it should of had more in the game but i got to play. :)

PS get the cheap version and keep your money for VC you will need some to level up
your attributes/golf bag it cost a lot.
