I rearranged the versions so the tiers could be clearly understood and you can see what you're getting for the extra money.

From my point of view, the decision is simple.
Deluxe!
Why?
7 days earlier, I want to play and not watch for a week.
1800 VC, whether I pay for it now or later...
There will always be cosmetic items, even in every pass.

Main reason:

I'm not committing today to play with compulsion in 12 months after all, because I paid for 5 season passes.
I can decide each time whether it's worth buying an additional pass. Maybe it makes more sense to spend the 20€ or 20$ on the Legend Edition for VC to specifically buy my desired items instead of getting a green or pink shirt now. Yes, people are collectors, but you can also overdo it.

I think fancy outfits are nice too, but the way I see it, the graphics haven't improved. Only when the graphics have improved significantly, like in NBA 2k, might a tatoo on your arm be nice.

That price has completely disintegrated my interest in this, It may be the 2nd best golf game ever but its still not worth £60

In the minority here, but I had no problem buying the Legend. I appreciate them making the game. Over 500 hours in both 2K and EA golf games. Already have 30+ rounds in on the Demo. When I am not at my club, I like to sit back and and play on PC. I do hope they have a cloud save, It's a Pita moving the save game around. It took me 2 hours to figure out how to get my player from the Steam Deck to my gaming Laptop.

I thought that as well but I reinstalled Golf Club 2019 after 2K purchased the developer on the Xbox and you can still download courses and play them offline. Maybe they leave that alone when they shutdown the servers for 2K21.

I'm now playing tiger woods 08 I already have almost every GPA course there is created a custom 2025 career tour we'll say got all the courses I really wanted to upgrade to a nice game 23 I'd like the graphics I'd like the gameplay and career mode but online was terrible and they're lacking

Ridiculous pricing.
I know it's the highest version but still,what a racket.
We truly are living in the age of greed.
I guess we can wait for the sales so patience is a virtue.
This really all started with EA and the industry ran with it.

And on top of that they don't tell you in the server is shut down you won't have any game left at all unless you think five or six courses playing all by yourself with no internet play no single player career mode no multiplayer of any kind whatsoever everything requires being connected to the servers I'll never buy this game or any game from 2K ever again

Another good example of what they're doing when they shut down servers it's like you going to a dealer buy a snowmobile ride it for 5 years then the dealer comes out takes a snowmobile away from you and says you have to buy a new one in order to ride anymore.. sounds like a corrupt scam to me not one judge in this world would allow this to happen if it came before his bench

A little bit narked with the editions on offer

I am talking about the deluxe and legendary editions. For the players who do not own PGA Tour 2K23 then these editions are a bargain as in these editions you get the digital copy free within 24 hours of pre-purchasing but what about the people who already own 2K23? Imo in this case these two versions are a con. I was very tempted in getting the deluxe version so I could start playing the new game in just under 2 weeks instead of waiting for 3. It would be nice if there was an edition where you got no free 2K23 but getting the 7 days early access.

Is anyone who already owns 2K23 getting the deluxe or legendary edition?

My question is why you buying the game what are your reasons

It just seems a better game. The career mode in 2K23 is rubbish in that it mostly is play the courses and get in the top so and so of the AI players. It seems that in the 2K25 version is there is also a skill tree where you can gain skills the better you play the game. Sort of a bit like the EA golf game where you weren't very good until you added points and skills which made you a better player.

I like designing courses (I'm not very good but still enjoy it) and after watching the Crazycanuck video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_Qgev0oiPk ) on what they are bringing to the design side really interests me.

I've also played the 2K25 First Look which I found was amazing. I am really looking forward to this game. I have bought every game in this franchise and the career mode has almost been same same in every version and the 2K25 version seems to be a lot different but I won't find out about this until probably Feb 28th because I don't intend to buy the digital or legendary version if it has a game I already own. I suppose I will just have to just gnaw my nails down a bit further while waiting for 3 weeks instead of 2.

really? 75 for 2 years means hundreds of hours playing...not expensive at all even legendary is not expensive in my view. you can always wait for a discount, normally that comes pretty quick, i bet at easter there will be say 25 % off.
