controller or keyboard and mouse [which best for the game]

I should be getting the game Friday but which do you think is best to use controller or keyboard and mouse ? yes i have played demo but with mouse on laptop as am away from home till Friday ....thanks

I feel it doesn't only come down to what's best, what is more fun? I could never play this game with mouse and keyboard because it would be boring to me. If you like then go for it, I recommend controller because it feels nice and right to play just like Tiger Woods golf back in the day.

You -need- a mouse or high end custom controller with zero stick drift to play competitive online. A regular controller even on pro am is near impossible to win with because of how overly sensitive they've made this game. This isn't really a golf sim at high difficulty as much as it's a souls like lol.

So I thought the game was easy with M&K, then I switched off of "Perfect Swing" difficulty and let me tell you it is HARD. I just sat in the practice area and can't hit a straight shot to save my live so I might switch to controller.

pure nonsens, i play with a regular xbox controller on pro and its very doable, not easy, but great.

On a new Xbox controller, you could probably do alright, but basically it's stick drift. Older or lower quality controllers all have stick drift. Standard Xbox controllers are notorious for developing stick drift in a short period of time, which is why secondary controllers became such a big thing. Razer Wolverine's have technology specifically designed to increase accuracy and increase durability, that's just a fact.

So -maybe- you can get by on a standard for a short period of time if it's lightly used or new, but to climb ranked you need mouse or a high end controller.
