Can't get the demo to work after loading what looked like the complete game. If yu can't get the demo to work, I'll be a little cautions. Like a big sale with decent reviews.

The demo tried to work today. It downloaded something at launch, I thought, ok it's going to work. Nope black screen again.

The games probably fine as I see people playing and not many complaining. I want to try the demo to see if I even need the game as I've never finished 2023 version. I'm going to finish it before I buy the new game anyway if I ever do.

Demo vs Game and Starting

I never got the demo to work and I tried a lot different ways. The Dev guy came on and asked "what's your specs". Which seems what he asked everyone. I have plenty of specs for his game, so I never heard back. Great tec-support.

So what's the odds the game works?

I'm not a developer, just a volunteer moderator. Asking for the specs is Troubleshooting 101. 2K Support will ask the same thing when you send in a ticket.

I found the older thread and saw I missed the specs response. I'll merge these threads.

Do you have anything showing on your Event Viewer or any blocks to sites on your firewall?
