Wind does not affect your shot in amateur mode. That's why the indicator isn't there.
If it's a severe slope and the wind is blowing from the opposite direction, it might go the opposite way....
Just a thought :)
Wind is supposed to be chaotic and difficult to predict. If 2K25 is doing that it can only be a good thing.
I beg to differ with you. The wind does affect the shot, no doubt about it.
a 15MPH needs to behave like a 15MPH not a 2mph nothing wind and a 2mph behave like a 2mph wind and anything in between.
the wind SPEEDS are wrong in this game...
never once did I say the wind doesn't affect the shot....
the wind SPEEDS are wrong in this game...
I've hit shots going uphill aiming SHORT into a 10+mph wind and have the shot blow over the pin, I've hit the same shot and have it come well short, so again....
the wind SPEEDS are wrong in this game...
my math with ANY wind speed have usually been for ever 1mph wind you add 1 yard up to 10mph, (depending on power of shot) after that it gets to be a guessing game. in any golf game I've ever played has this been the case
I suspect the designers have tried to simulate actual wind. That means not one uniform speed/direction over an entire hole (like every other golf game out there). The more people complain about this, the more my hardline against buying this game softens. Damn you all. :)
I bet wind is affected by say .. a line of trees, or local topography, and a fudge factor might have to be added to your calculations.
the wind is WRONG in this game!
MY guess is you think 1mph needs the same amount of counter as say 12mph, in which you'd be wrong. The faster it goes the more you need to counter.
For example.... ~6-10 MPH is approx 1 yard/square the opposite direction PER mph, 11-15 is approx 1.5. You not being able to figure that out doesnt mean its wrong, it means you are.
Is there a SINGLE aspect of this game you havent said is wrong or broken? I think you've basically touched on all of it by now so you're circling back around, and you've been comedically wrong about all of it. The funniest part is you can simply google the above info.
it's not a "skill" issue, I expect the wind to play what it reads or close to that
