And they are struggling to break par on 18 holes. That guy played almost 100 hours of the flipping demo and has played this game since it came out about 40 hours ago.
And still barely breaks even and all he does is play golf games.
And playing this game is his flipping job!!!
I've already given up on the idea of ever playing online in this game (save everyone time and me a lot of embarrassment)
Maybe they should have leagues for different abilities. Gold league is master or higher, silver is Pro, Bronze is Semi Pro.
I get that some people are superb.
People never appreciate how good they are compared to others at something they are truly good at.
Happens in work all the time "Why can't Jeff write a few lines of simple code FFS.... it's Soooooo easy - an idiot could do it"
The risk of raising the bar is you exclude more and more people from even taking part.
I ranked once or twice online in 23 in the season top 100 and won or placed decently high in matches regularly. I played exclusively swing stick (never 3 click) since it became available. I have all the 2K games and the HB ones before they joined 2K. I could complete pretty darn well in 23. Get a few wins
23 hours into 25K (plus about 5 in the Demo) I can't get a straight swing if my life depended on it.
I've gone from a "almost a contender" to a "never going to pay online again" in one update.
Maybe if I "no life" the game for 500+ hours I could "get gud". But in the 20+ hours I've played in the last day and a half I haven't got the tiniest bit better, so that might just be wishful thinking.
No, I’m not that good as I don’t put the hours in …I do know these type of games that have builds and when the builds get going strong, master level is what will keep game to reasonable score under par..the game progressed as these type games do and difficulty should progress too..now maybe if I didn’t play so much COD I could do the hours it’s going to require to be really good.
I personally like skin games and only had about 300 hours in 23 and will probably be the same in 25 or less.
