I have set it to Every Difficulty, With Rumble Off and It still does it. I'm just using a Plain jane Xbox Controller. Even Put a Ticket in to 2k.
Try this
If you're using Steam, you can also disable vibration through Steam's settings: Open Steam: Go to "Settings" > "Controller" > "General Controller Settings." Select Your Controller: Choose your Xbox Series X controller from the list. Adjust Preferences: Switch the "Rumble Preference" to "Off."
As I stated That's been done. The Game is bugged.
I will go in and check now, hard missed swing, brb.
However turning off rumble in Nexus app for the G7 SE removes the rumble fully so that answer your question about that. Great controller and great software, I didn't even need to restart game, just multi-tasked to windows, turned it off and went back in and rumble was gone.
Thanks Buddy. All I need to know.
Glad you liked it, I am really enjoying my G7 SE in 2k25 and others seem to have the same experience.
How are the mechanical buttons, light or more heavy to press and the sound, loud keyboard clicky or subtle mouseclick sounding?
If you mean vibration when you miss your shot? We discussed that ealier in the thread and it have that plus the normal overswing vibration. It has 4 motors, one in each handle and one in each trigger. You can adjust all independently in the Nexus software in strength and fully off if you don't like it.
The G7 SE have the same functions as the G7 HE except it has classic non-mechanical buttons. Whereas the G7 HE have mechanical mouse like buttons.
The G7 SE also have paddle locks, so the buttons underneath the handles can be locked so it just feel like a normal controller with 0 flex of those paddles.
They are similar otherwise so it comes down to taste. I play fighting games, shmups and platformers so I went with the old school buttons that are more rubbery and quiet in their operation. I can't compare with the g7 HE but I love the d-pad so far on the SE. It's the best I've had on both official and after market controllers so far.
In my opinion xbox official controllers have lost a lot of quality since the xbox 360 era which was the last great controller from them in my opinion.
I was using the general XBox controller before buying this and my swings were often not very good. I have never had a swing with 4 perfects yet. I've had a hole in one so my game wasn't always bad,
So, buying this I was thinking my game playing would noticeably be better, and it wasn't. In fact it was worse. I'm not dissing this controller yet though. My gaming could be worse because of a couple of reasons:
The controller is shaped slightly differently so it didn't feel the same as it used to, and I've only just bought it and only played a few holes.
Now that I've bought it, and my other controller I have had a couple of years, I will persevere and see what it is like after 2 or 3 full course playthroughs. If I'm still playing worse I will more than likely revert back to my old controller and decide that I have wasted 50 quid on a new controller
It has hall effect sensors so it takes some time getting used to because it is more delicate and have a finer sensitivity but it will be more consistent than the old tech over time. Did you install the nexus app and raised the report rate to 500 or even 1000 hz? There are some more settings also in the app like Raw mode if that is something you would enjoy so try it. Find a setting you like, I have only tried it with 500 hz report rate and that felt good to me.
Did you get the G7 SE or the G7 HE? I heard some say the HE is a bit smaller than the SE and some have returned it because of that. While others say it is the exact same shape but I'm not sure, if 2 people say it feels smaller it's hard to believe they would imagine that and it was 2 people in a reddit thread that both had the experience of it feeling smaller.
I have the OG xbox and the G7 SE infront of me now and size wise they are very close but the G7 SE is nicer in the hand, the xbox pushes more outwards with the handles whereas the G7 SE have more straight down handles. It give a really nice grip in my opinion where your thumbs rest exactly on the sticks in a neutral position. I feel more strain with the OG controller just holding it so for my hands the G7 is better.
Difference from what I have read is.
G7 HE
No paddle locks
Mechanical buttons instead of standard membrane buttons, some might see it as a plus but to me clicky buttons could be worse in fighting games and definitely worse when streaming and you want it as quiet as possible since you have a mic right over your controller.
Size is different between HE and the SE according to some guys here

Other than that they both go to 1000 hz report rate and both have hall effect sensors, it will come down to that size difference and if you like a lot of d-pad gaming. I could be wrong and the mechanical feels great in fighting games as well but I will never know without buying a G7 HE as well but you can read a guys impression here about the G7 SE d-pad.

Also you asked about vibration, the handles vibrate and the triggers, so 4 motors all can be independently adjusted.
