OOTP 25: Many facegen files not showing up

I started a historical sim as the 1986 Mets and only a few of my players (or players on the opposing teams) seem to have their facegen files. Most are blank. I've validated the files. Anyone else encounter this / know what to do? Thanks!

Go to the Workshop and subscribe to the "Complete Universe Facegen Pack 2.0" mod, it will install historical facegens that are not included with the game. I had the same issue until I installed this pack. Also be sure to grab the "Historical Uniforms, Logos, and Jersey Fonts" and the "Historical Major League Stadiums" mods as all three of these really add to the accuracy of the presentation. Great mods by some great people who consistently enhance the game.

Or without workshop, go to League Settings, go to Facegens, click dropdown to all players, click on force update of all facegens. It will take about 30 minutes or so.

Glad it worked. What may have been confusing you is that this is the first year OOTP has gotten licenses for historic players through the MLB Alumni Association (and HOF) so some of my facegens from the facegen pack mod are actually allowed to be shipped in the game now.
