Font Size
I have a 4k screen and the font size is so small. I have maxed it out and it's not much bigger then the standard size. Is it suppose to be like that?

That works if you play in a window mode, but full screen with windows scaling set above 100 causes screen shifting and you can't see everything. The above fix works for window mode, but you will have that stupid bar across the top.

Although i have it set to 4k res it still looks like its in 1080p?

Exact same thing here. I did get it to look a little better but the font still looks like 1080. I do hate that it has to be in window mode. Any discussion on an actual fix for this it?

It's not ideal but there's an app on Steam here called Lossless Scaling that allows you to render any window full screen at any custom resolution. Has multiple scaling options to stretch it or border it.

Really struggling with this on my 17" laptop 4k screen. If I switch off the DPI scaling in the game the display is much bigger but chunky and fuzzy. If I enable the DPI scaling the display is clear and crisp but way too small. Changing font size makes no difference. Frustrating.

Yes agree. my screen is 4k but a 32" with DPI scaling switched off it looks like its in 720p!

Basically in true 4k you cannot change the font size this is the issue.

Any one found a way to increase the font size whilst keeping it to a true 4k res?

I was able to get the font size to be good. The letters look like crap though.

Only solution I've found works is to decrease the scale setting on my laptop. Mine is set at 250% (recommended). Dropped it down to 150% and it looks good. But its a pain and means I can't switch between apps/programmes without fiddling with the scale. Needs a fix.

I wonder if they plan on fixing it? I was on their forums last weekend and asked if there were any plans to fix it but no one said anything else

Bottom Line Up Front: I wouldn't expect the blurry font to be fixed anytime soon.

I've done a deep dive about this 2-3 years ago because I'm not a fan of the blurry font, either. Forum posts I found on the OOTP website (I am way too lazy to look them up and cite them so you'll have to decide for yourself if you believe me or not) was that in order to update the visuals to work on large, high-def monitors they would have to remake (update? idk) the game engine for some reason and Markus, the original developer, said that he had no intentions of doing that anytime soon. I'd love to be corrected on all of this, though. I know nothing about making games so who am I to argue? It sure would have been nice to get a nice engine/UI update to go along with this year's price increase. But hey, we got user-directed player development! That's never been done before in a sports game before, right?

*Note slides across desk.*

Oh...

Jokes aside, yes the player development lab seems like a good addition to the game. I messed around with this year's version, but I haven't started a real playthrough yet so I can't say for certain.
