I'm sorry you've had an issue, but if anything, FHM10 is our biggest and best one to date. You're also posting on/around a Holiday, and while I completely understand your frustration, we (and by we, I mean the FHM team - 3 people - not including myself) have taken a bit of time off for a few days.
My guess is you didn't turn Facegen off so it's still generating - or have some option turned on. FaceGen options are on the Start Screen under Settings and a different set is in your game under File > Settings.
Likely something is on that shouldn't be and that's causing your issues.
I'm sorry you're having issues with Mods, but while I understand you feel it loses some authenticity for your experience, that's not the case for everyone. It does not affect how the game plays.
Since you still seem to be having issues, I would suggest posting on our Forums where the people creating the Mods may be able to give you more insight.
While you're entitled to your opinion, this franchise has only gotten better since I started playing with FHM 4. Has it been perfect? Not even close, but the very small development team making the game year in and year out does a great job supporting the game post launch and helping people with issues they are having. Maybe not always as prompt as some would like, but much more so than most bigger studios. The owner selling has NOTHING to do with the developers themselves, so I don't know why you even bring that up.
all of the photo packs i found on the forums were years old. I'm probably looking in the wrong places though.
Photos definitely work though idk why the other guy says they don't. I've added some myself with no problems. Logos, helmets, jerseys and photos.
I'm not sure what to tell you because this seems to be an issue isolated to you right now. We have not seen multiple reports of people having issues with Mods this year or any previous version (with a few naming exceptions)...so it seems be something isolated to your game/system.
If you send us a video of you playing and showing where you have the files stored, your menu options and what you're seeing in game (especially with images disappearing) then maybe we can help offer a solution to you. Feel free to Message me a link with a private video uploaded to something like Dropbox.
As I said before, you seem to be the only consumer right now who is having issues. We can't fix when the issue seems to be isolated solely to you/your PC without more information.
It could be an easy fix, but our inability to know what's causing your isolated issue on your machine makes it impossible for us to address. If you'd like to provide it, we'll gladly look into it. If not, then that is your choice.
