Player Photos

Where do they go---what folder do they belong in ??? And how do you get them to load ??? Any help would be appreciated----thank you !!

It depends if you've started a game or not. If not, they go in the Quick_start photo for player files. If you've started a game, same file, but in your Saved_games folder.

Thanks for your reply. Put them in the saved games quick start player photo files but they still do not show up in the game ????

where did u find a current photo pack?

It's a historical pack that I have compiled-----but I cannot get the game to display the photos----I have put them in every file that has anything to do with photos and nothing shows, additionally the photos included with the game and those from the workshop of FHM 9 do not show up. The photos from 9 worked perfectly in 9 but are useless in 10 and there seems to be little or NO HELP available.

You know what, please disregard all my posts-----I am a purchaser of the original OOTP Baseball and have been a loyal customer through all these years purchasing baseball, boxing and hockey games and sticking around through their various sales of the company but this is enough. Since the sale to com2us OOTP quality has simply disappeared. The games are scaled down, they do not work properly anymore, no one wants to help anymore this sale has signaled the END of a once outstanding gaming company----you get no more of my money----20+ years and you used those years to become a failure.

I'm sorry you've had an issue, but if anything, FHM10 is our biggest and best one to date. You're also posting on/around a Holiday, and while I completely understand your frustration, we (and by we, I mean the FHM team - 3 people - not including myself) have taken a bit of time off for a few days.

My guess is you didn't turn Facegen off so it's still generating - or have some option turned on. FaceGen options are on the Start Screen under Settings and a different set is in your game under File > Settings.

Likely something is on that shouldn't be and that's causing your issues.

Our Forums. There's a link in the game, or at the top of Discussions. People do add them to Steamworks eventually, but it does take time.

Your instructions for photos do not work, also logos do not load----your claim that this is the best version of FHM ever probably comes from our different viewpoints----I pay for the game, you are paid to build it. Sorry if you don't like how those that pay for your work feel about what you produce !

I'm sorry you're having issues with Mods, but while I understand you feel it loses some authenticity for your experience, that's not the case for everyone. It does not affect how the game plays.

Since you still seem to be having issues, I would suggest posting on our Forums where the people creating the Mods may be able to give you more insight.

Player Photos belong in the Graphics folder of your saved game/player pics. Logos and such go in the folders labeled as such in your saved game. If you don't want to go through the process every time you start a new save, copy and paste those folders in the same folder of whichever Quickstart you use.

While you're entitled to your opinion, this franchise has only gotten better since I started playing with FHM 4. Has it been perfect? Not even close, but the very small development team making the game year in and year out does a great job supporting the game post launch and helping people with issues they are having. Maybe not always as prompt as some would like, but much more so than most bigger studios. The owner selling has NOTHING to do with the developers themselves, so I don't know why you even bring that up.

all of the photo packs i found on the forums were years old. I'm probably looking in the wrong places though.

Photos definitely work though idk why the other guy says they don't. I've added some myself with no problems. Logos, helmets, jerseys and photos.

I have done exactly what you have laid out-----photos only load occasionally, and they disappear quite often right in the middle of a game----logos are a whole different story as the only two types of logos that ever appear are NHL logos or some lame generic logo that is not in any data file, while the logos in the game folders never load. Congratulations on being a customer since version 4---I've been a customer since version 1 of the baseball game, have owned ITP as well, the boxing game they had and every hockey version they have put out------and the issues have only gotten worse over the last couple years----the attention to detail is horrible and the solutions advanced to issues are simply NOT solutions !!! These games NEED to have working photos, logos etc. as a gameplay simulations are simply primitive.

I'm not sure what to tell you because this seems to be an issue isolated to you right now. We have not seen multiple reports of people having issues with Mods this year or any previous version (with a few naming exceptions)...so it seems be something isolated to your game/system.

If you send us a video of you playing and showing where you have the files stored, your menu options and what you're seeing in game (especially with images disappearing) then maybe we can help offer a solution to you. Feel free to Message me a link with a private video uploaded to something like Dropbox.

You don't get it-----it's not my system---I run OOTP 23. PSF 2024 Axis Football 2024, Digital Diamond Baseball 11 and all the Wolverine Studios games plus many others and NONE of them have issues with Mods---they all have their own issues but not with simple placement and opening of mods. This is an issue whether you have other complaints or not that you should find a fix for----to me it doesn't matter I'm done with your series-----it's not worth the aggravation, especially on something that should be so simple.

As I said before, you seem to be the only consumer right now who is having issues. We can't fix when the issue seems to be isolated solely to you/your PC without more information.

It could be an easy fix, but our inability to know what's causing your isolated issue on your machine makes it impossible for us to address. If you'd like to provide it, we'll gladly look into it. If not, then that is your choice.
