Is Stone Creek really an escape map or just too hard on solo?
Maybe too hard for me, anyway.

I spent a lot of time boarding up, running, shooting, boarding up again, trying to find time to heal and then dying. Has anyone beaten this on solo?
I like the idea of co-op but always like to learn the maps first. (I have boot sores from not doing that in L4D:) JK

The house here seems more survivor and cries for helpers. Really just curious how others feel.

The other maps, Barlowe, the PD and Biotec make sense but not Muertos or Stoned Creek.
Frankly, I like exploring and shooting, not so much boarding. But always give things a try.

Appreciate your opinions.

It's an escape map, but since the map itself is very small (consists of just the estate and the adjoining road), they made it into a pseudo-survival campaign, because the alternative would be a Resident Evil style mansion puzzle complete with extensive underground tunneling and such.

I personally avoid it because it always degenerates into map exploiting just to survive. Between the already high numbers of zombies and the addition of player zombies (some of whom are highly experienced and voluntarily suicide to leverage their skill against human players Brainbread style), it's damn near impossible to survive without using the exploit.

Now THAT was a good answer. Thank-you! I shall avoid it as I have and feel better about it.

All are beatable solo. I enjoy the challenge but oft play Barlowe Solo on extreme difficulty.
