Escape Maps Replay Value
I believe Barlow Square and Police Station came out first. Both of these maps have great replay value thanks to their dynamic Pathing. Biotech was next to come out and while it does have some dynamic pathing its far reduced vs the first two. It also only has one ending/escape and overall the ending is pretty anti climatic vs the original maps.

I am curious how the 3 new maps stack up as I have only played them a little. So far they feel pretty much the same each run though. Can someone who knows them intimately share a bit more about what dynamic path options are possible?

There's no dynamic paths in Harvest (even plunger is always in same place unlike in ZP:S) or Camp, only random item locations for loot and objectives. Montclair features some variation like: first gate needing boltcutter, houses being alarmed and attracting a horde, gates to tents in park being locked, the location of the breakers in the plantation house and finally the escape (although it's the same holdout location). Montclair was definitely a step-up from the previous two but RPD and Barlowe's replayibility are far superior. Biotec made up for it by introducing new objective items + objectives. I feel if they were to make another Escape map they should focus on replayibility and new objectives or concepts for the mode.

Shame that they strayed away from the dynamic pathing as I really like it. Heck, Barlow Square has 2 possible starting locations AND two possible ending locations.

I definitely loved that. It was cool to battle through one side of the map one round and the other the next. Escape mode has a ton of potential and it was interesting to see how varied the first 2 maps were for the same mode (RPD has you spawn in same place but explore different sections of the station, Barlowe has you go through different buildings in the city but meet up at a crucial few).

By the way, don't forget that Biotec is the only map at this moment that has real gamaplay variety (different from just ammo/weapon/npc-zombies spawning) that depends on difficulty, which is not common on other maps.

Thats correct, the labs are flooded with gas on hard and above. Is there anything else though?
