Get rid of the stupid music

The stupid music in dramatic events in the game is very very annoying, so distracting. Whoever thought is was a great idea think again, you cannot turn down the volume even on zero it is still loud. Please disable it completely.

A few patches back the music turned on for me as well, and I can't figure a way to turn it off. Some guidance on this would be great, as the games is more immersive without a soundtrack.

Well the developer does say to lower the audio volume as this should affect those recently added escape/event songs to be quiet.
As he did some fixing of the music in the previous patch to have a proper volume.

Turn music slider to off? Was working for me. Or better yet drown it out with some background music from youtube.

Ok the volume issue should be fixed and now working with the volume slider in the options.
