is online co-op working yet?

can I play with friends without sacrificing a whole computer to make a personnal pseudo server and without having to break both our computer with hamachi?
as in : does the multiplayer work normally yet?

There is a lobby system added a while ago which is similar/same working as it is in Left 4 Dead 2 so you can host a game for yourself using peer to peer which your friend can connect from within the lobby.

yeah, it works with no extra set up. However make sure that every player has loaded the map you are about to play before hand so that the loading screen doesnt take forever.
What I mean by this is that each player should start a solo match with that map, load in, and then quit. Then they need to close the game and open it again and they should be able to join with no loading issues. Good Luck

Old thread but for anyone who reads this - the need to preload should be unnecessary when we get 64 bit (although thats still several months out)
