Yeah I think I saw that post actually haha. I'd love to use the voices too, so I might just have to go into Audacity and record them to use as clips, that might be the best bet to do. Hope it works out for you and others though, might just have to do it all manually!
When .bnk archive is being unpacked the files are written like this:
So, you will have to listen through all the files in order to find the needed lines.
Remember that you also have lots of different versions of the same voice line that are used for different situations: quiet (whispering), normal, loud, loud as hell.
I am sure the Monochrome's former sound designer's project files had a proper naming, but I doubt he would be able to confirm that, because he most likely doesn't have the project files anymore on his computer. You can ask him anyway. His contact info can be found on the internet quite easily.
"conventional IMA ADPCM wave file" as said in description of the program on Github.
If you're good with command prompt, then you won't have problem using these. But you can of course use the .bat files to make the stuff work too.
After you have everything downloaded and ready, you will need only to create a separate folder somewhere on your computer (better far away from Contagion installation folder in order to avoid any mishaps). Just take voice_survivors.bnk file and copy it to your newly created folder with the tools. You should keep all the tools in their own folders too, this will make it easier to navigate the mess you have there.
True! I might just do that though with Audacity when I get the chance I think.
