Failed to load library client

Whenever I launch the game, it starts to launch and show the opening launch sequence, then it stops and a small pop up appears that says "Failed to load library client." Anybody know how to resolve this?

No, I haven't dabbled in any mods available on the workshop that could cause this, so I was rather surprised when this error popped up one day. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, verified file integrity, and none of it has worked.

But regarding the topic: make sure to install the following:

• Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64)
  
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86)
  
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64)
  
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86)
  
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64)
  
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86)

You could also install 2010 redistributables, just to make sure it works.

All this worked for me last time when I reinstalled the game. Might probably solve your issue as well, but I am not entirely sure.
