Chapter 9 achievements problem

I complete the game in Bananas (3 times) but "The Safe Word is "Bananas"!" didn't unlocked, I have the same problem with "Heart Hoarder", can you help me with this?

Are you sure you did EVERY chapter on Bananas? Heart Hoarder.. Did you get the Torches on the lower levels of the prison?

Yes, and the VICTORY with the Wizard jumping in Frez time with the credits say I complete the **** chapter.

And the golem with his SELF DESTRUCTION tell me I complete all the chapter too

With 'Heart Hoarder', you need to collect all of the hearts, not just extinguish the torches. Be sure to get the torch at the very beginning of the level, as well as the two or three at the very end. Additionally, one of the torches is unlit (just before the Void doorway). Light that torch to open the way to the Scythe, then extinguish it for its Heart.

Yeah, Ch9 doesn't seem to be triggering those for me, either. I've defeated Lok more times than I can remember, but have yet to get 'We Have Normality' achievement and that difficulty doesn't have a green tick next to it when I complete the chapter.
Hopefully the devs are already aware of it (like they are with the Ch5 unlock) and will fix it soon.

You don't even need to ignite it before you can extinguish it. You just water everything and get the hearts. There is an other unlit torch in a cell, you can't get the heart from there, dunno if that torch is required for the achivement or not. My guess is not tho.

And you won't get the achivement unless you progress to the next part.

For your problem with "The safe word is bananas" it might be a bug, I've seen it posted about in the forums before. For "Heart Hoarder" you don't really need to collect the hearts, in fact one of the hearts is impossible to get without dying, you just need to extinguish all of the torches and advance to the next area. I do all of that, but in my opinion I have the achievements bugged

I have the same bug I can't clear Chapter 9. Did it on normal and Bananas both won't work

All achivements? The banana one is definetly bugger for many ppl, dunno if all tho.

But for the torch one I think you are missing one or two. I did it second try, I left out one where you need to ignite one to get a secret. There is one at the down-right corridor. Somewhere there.

I clear all torch 4 times (one run today) and nothing ... And yes I know the secret corridor (with crash to desk), and I know the torch with Fus-ro-dah and frost, but I get bugged that achievements

No one else has reported this achievement to be bugged yet, at least to my knowledge, maybe try counting the torches you extinguish and see if you are coming up short.

I just counted the touches twice and I come up with 38 obvious ones + 1 for the secret corridor + 2 below the prison arena which are extinguishable, refer to my guide for screenshots. I believe that you only need to extinguish the 38, but I need confirmation on this from someone who doesn't have the achievement yet and is willing to experiment.

You do not need the two on the lower levels of the prison fight area - I just got the achievement without them. What's odd is that even after falling into the pits during the fight and dying (causing a reset in checkpoint), I just went back and got the 5 at the beginning and kept going. Achievement still popped. So if fall in with invincibility, you are still good.

when i finished chapter 9 on hard i got no Lazer dance skin for the Vanir robe :\,did anyone else get this problem?
