"Combine up to five(5) elements"

Ummm... The last game have EIGHT(8) elements! What's happened? Have the wizards forgotten their craft? Alzheimer's?

Or is this another game that's being dumb down and casualised for the mouth breathing, plebe masses and thereby undermining its very purpose to exist in the process?!

Magicka IS its elements mechanic -- without it it's nothing (see: the Wizard in Gauntlet). If this system is now making way for a scrubbier, more "accessible" (it wasn't even that complex!), then they should just pack up their staves and go home.

Stop insulting fans of the game!

Are you blind, illiterate or stupid ?

They're eight elements, as in Magicka 1, and you can COMBINE up to five elements, as in Magicka 1...

I think what the guy above me was attempting to say without being very clear was that you still have the same number of elements (8) to choose from but can only combine a selection of 5 of them as you could in the previous game.

As above, take a deep breath! The 8 Element system is still present and correct! 8 Elements, you can mix 5 per cast, as with the first game. :)

8 elements or 10? Does water and fire combine into steam, and water and cold to ice like in magicka 1 in the spell bar, or is it like in wizard wars?
What i mean is can i haz QFQFASA?

No, there is no combined elements. You can still create steam spells with fire and water. Cold and water creates ice spells.

I see thx. Too bad... does it mean the QFASA can't be casted anymore tough? Since one can't cast water and lightning togedher? I loved all those lightning+steam spells in the original and really miss them in wizard wars.. If they also took them out here i can't help it and just go cry in a corner.
