A Quick Way to Beat Elin

--The Remark--
Really. I found that element useful through most of the game, starting with the crabs. After being ultra frustrated with trying to beat this area in Chapter 9, while playing on Bananas difficultly, no less, I decided to simply charge her immediately after the cut scene and hope for the best. Five poisons was promising, but didn't cut it. So, Steam. And *that* did it.

--The Setup--
Robe: Wuxia Robe (speed is essential -- but also personal preference)
Staff: Staff of Lok (personal preference, but the bonus probably helps)
Weapon: Mallet (also personal preference -- maybe the extra physical damage helps?)

--The Procedure--
Wait until the cut scene starts, since getting as close as possible to Elin is critical. Then skip the scene and immediately move towards her while channeling five steams and enchanting your weapon. Hit her at the earliest opportunity and keep battering her and getting closer until she's dead. All she does is back up; she won't attack. Occasionally, you'll have to sidestep a guard's attack, but the whole event will take mere seconds. Even managed to simultaneously get the relevant Achievement for not killing her guards.
