This could be good.
This game, I see a lot that it can have. It can, and likely might be great as long as there is continued effort by the dev(s). This, when polished, is what i was hoping Once Human would feel like. If this becomes well polished it will likely be one of my top survival games.
The game has good visuals, but can make the horror theme more intense by making the fog heavier. Doing so would also help how some of the graphics get worn out by distance. Speaking of the distance, The sense of scale in this game is amazing. the whale struck me the moment i got out of the bunker. I scaled the monorail just to see the whale better, just to discover, that the game was not set only within the monorail like i thought. The monorail being a main form of travel was really fun. Especially with how it acted as a mobile base. And a small disconnect from my previous topic; the monsters, i feel could be darkened a little, at their current state they stand out too much from the terrain and if horror is the goal, making them blend in more would do wonders.
Now to my main thing. The movement feels heavy, like we are machinery. It simply, felt rigid. Could be alleviated with subtle movement acceleration, and maybe a small movement speed boost? What i know for a fact could help the rigidity feeling, is a head-bob for movement and running. If there is one i didn't notice during my time playing. That would make the character feel more fluid and not like a machine.
But thats it from me. So far, with the fact that this is a demo and pre-release in mind I can say, I love this. I love what this could become.

In short. Amazing potential.

Thank you so much for such a detailed feedback! Regarding heavy movement we actually had much more movement options that made it much smoother but we temporary removed them to minimize motion sickness, we will add them in options soon so people can decide if they want to play with them or not ;)

I would add that the position or the view gives the impression of having small legs:steammocking:
