Choo choo charles (slight spoiler)

Did the dev had permsission from two star to use choo choo charles in this game? If so are the two games connected? I cant take this game seriously now with that.

when it comes to indies i always hunt for the lore no matter how cheesy it is. I had some trouble taking it seriously before and during the first two chapters but then i thought it was getting original because of the characters only to suddenly see and hear a familiar face.

pretty sure I heard somewhere that the Euphoric Brothers are friends when the dev of Choo choo Charles, so yes they probably had permission.

I looked into the credits and found that they gave special thanks to Two Star, indicating they had proper permission. Still a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid and pointless bit though

its because GoB is commentary on mascot horror and indie horror as a whole, just as it has always been commentary on employee exploitation in the workplace, and has been about the bonds between a parent and child.

The game isn't commentary on anything, it's just garbage. They're only playing into the whole irony angle to sell more merch.
