But its as fun as I remember and I am happy to have bought it. I think I have played enough games to have spent about $50-75 on a real table.
I was one two chair shots away from touring the mansion a second time at a little over 600M. If I could hit the chair more consistently with the right flipper, I would be nearly unstoppable!!!
Don't use the right flipper for the chair shots. Use the left.
Well I will keep going, I wasn't so fond of Attack From Mars when I first played it and now it is one of my favourite tables. I guess this one feels a little cheap and that is coming from someone who plays a lot of Black Knight 2000 and loves it. Might switch from controller to keyboard for this though, as nudging has zero effect and keyboard nudging has never worked that well for me.
That is certainly the preferred flipper. But the center ramp lights the chair and them puts the bal on the right flipper. I would love to perfect the chair shot, then catch the ball on the left flipper, hit the center ramp then the chair again. Then repeat as needed.
BTW, here's a quick tip for scoring a lot of quick points fast. The Mamushka mode is one of the quickest ways to score a lot of points easily. Just keep the ball on the table and hit the bumpers repeatly. You can score over 20 millions + points easily... Anyway, I'm both enjoying and getting frustated at the same time with this table. I've waited a long time for this table to be released for TPA and I'm not disappointed. Now, let's see if Stern Simpson's Pinball Party comes out in the near future.....
Yes I agree. The ball drains on sides are over zealous. I played the real machine back in the day for hours and hours, and I must agree, this doesn't "feel right".
So I loaded up Future Pinball with Zed Physics, and that's how I remember the machine playing. This version on Pinball Arcade isn't right.
can anyone confirm The Power is that much of a jerk? happens to me when the ball is lower right of The Power jewel.
not to brag but my very first game I tour'd the table and got all standard goals. Variable strength nudging is the golden ticket
Yeah that right drain off the top flipper from launch is OP. If I miss the skillshot, I just hold the flipper out to avoid the whole thing.
