Is there a way to lock the camera?

This game makes me dizzy. The camera transitions are too fast and for my quarter uneeded. I never was one to lean over a table and drool on the glass during a ball in play. Is there a way to just lock the camera in normal flipper view? I don't want to follow the ball around the top of the table.

Yup. One key to change view angel and an other to lock the camera (it does move to the plunger lane when shooting a new ball and depending on your settings will zoom out in multiball).

Check your options ingame for what buttons and keys you have set it to. I got my lock key set to 'V' but I don't know if that was the original key.

Thank you for that. I always change my bindings first thing on any FPS. Didn't even occur to me to check there, as I use a controller for the flippers.

For me the game would be unplayable without a locked camera. 100% unplayable.

Without a static view for reference you can't possibly time shots with any degree of accuracy or consistency. You can react, but you can't time. And in pinball timing is more important than reaction.

If you're playing with an XBox controller, X (blue) button locks/unlocks camera zoom, B (red) changes overall camera view (it cycles thru 4 views), and Y (yellow) turns the DMD on/off.

Had to log in to say thank you I don't know why I couldn't find it, I'm playing on PS4 and circle changes the camera angle and in the options you can set to lock the multi ball and event camera hope that's useful to someone.

It's such a shame we can't get the perfect pinball game there always seems to be a trophy / achievement problem with Pinball Arcade / Stern Arcade the Pinball Arcade 1 and 2 argument seem to be that only a certain amount of trophies are allowed to be related to one game, well I do believe this as certain zen pinball/pinball FX tables have as little as 1 trophy like the Star Wars Rebels one for example. But stern Pinball Arcade only has trophies for the 1 free table which is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, I don't have to have trophies in my games but it does give me something else to aim for besides just the high score, sometimes I like looking back in thinking I remember getting that really hard trophy etc

Then there's the awful licensing problems that they weren't into giving us these awesome tables but having to crowdfund a lot of the time because of the ridiculous amounts of money the studios want for the licence of the tables.

Zen / FX pinball seems to have all the licences but then had the stupid idea to have badly designed tables for the most part and then when they added CG characters walking around the table I was like you know what I'm out we want jerky little animatronic people and little toys jiggling up and down like you know proper pinball.

If pinball Arcade season 1 season 2 Stern Pinball Arcade could sort out the trophy issue, I'd say it would be an easy win but it's an easy win anyway cos Arcade and stern are just better as the table Recreation is incredible.

But why Stern only has trophies for the 1 free table mystifies me.

I thought all this would be solved when they released Pinball Arcade season 2 I thought a great new game so don't be allowed to release new trophies/achievements apparently not, I know they don't matter to everyone but then I had to some of us all enjoy the game regardless but not quite as much as if they've been trophies I just don't know what the problem is, I'm guessing Zen pinball run out , now they've released pinball fx3. And the Marvel one is on a separate disc or on its own.

It's a stupid stupid rule setup buy Sony in the first place that game can only have a certain amount of trophies.

Anyway thank you farsightstudios forgiving astey's awesome recreations these amazing tables trophies or not but if you can find a way to add them you have a few more happy gamers.

P.s thankfully on PS4 you can re assign buttons now but please add something in the option so we can change the flippers to whatever button we want I grew up using the left d pad button for the left Flickr and what is the circle button on a Playstation pad for the right flipper I never got used to the triggers. I've also got a friend who lost an arm in Iraq and he deserves pinball and the only way he can play Now is virtually and even then only one I set up the PlayStation 4 accessibility controls but then it doesn't change the promising game so it can get quite confusing.

Anyway sorry for the long and probably very badly written posts I've written at 3:45 in the morning this one is to get some thoughts down.
