Ball Weight...
I just wanted to express my personal opinion after playing some of the REAL tables recently that are in these season packs. To me, when i came home from playing real tables, the ball weight seems to be a little bouncy and light weight in the video versions. The real table balls just felt more heavy as they moved around and flipped back up into the table., Anyone else feel that? I would like to personally see the physics in the games reflect a bit more weight given to the balls. Thanks for listening. (or at least the option to adjust the weight ourselves). Peace!

yes but its definitely better than like pinball fx2 for example. so play some of that first and arcade will seem really nice again.

The ball flies in The Pinball Arcade compared to the real tables. The ball does not bounce and hit the glass like it does in real life.

I agree better than FX for sure, but still would like to see some stronger physics added to ball weight. The glass popping effect would be awesome :)

That's what I gonna say, the ball is glued in the video game.

If you are talking "lighter" and "heavier", well, then, I must say that FX2 has a "heavier" ball. I am not saying which I prefer, FX2 or TPA, because I prefer the one I am playing at the time LOL!. But I can say that FX2 definitely has a "heavier" feel than TPA.

I remember the Pro Pinball series, and they actually DID have the ball hit the glass on occasion. And not often enough to take the fun out of it.

Depends a lot on how the tables are setup. Some are floaty, some are heavy.
I would assume TPA is setup to the recommended angle for that table.

In my experience, FX2 feels a lot like a new stern table. although some tables tend to be very bouncy. TPA tends to nail the feeling quite well on the tables I've been able to play, like Dr Who, which was pretty much spot on, except for the very greedy left outlane.
But I have played tables that feels very different as well, for example BSD which when I firth played it felt just like TPA, but the next time I played it, the angle was changed so it became very floaty and slow. changed the gameplay quite a bit.

It all depends

I forget what tables I was on but every now and than it seemed like the ball almost went
through the flipper. At first I thought what the ? After about 5 or 6 times on diff. tables I
was thinking perhapes TPA is tset running a ball jump over the flipper. I would go for a
hard hit on the ball and it was like the flipper would sort of melt through the ball. When it happened the flipper would pause for a micro sec. Than the ball would drain through the
flipper. Anyone else see that or am I off my meds ?
