They probably would, if they could, but different stores that wants their cut of the sales.
As for sharing scores, they should take a page from Zaccaria. Their system is definitely the most efficient I've seen so far.
As far as I can tell, the Farsight account is really only good for buying individual tables, rather than the packs. Not only are the packs a much better deal, I'm far more inclined to trust the permanence of items purchased through Steam, rather than a separate game account.
Tournaments.
There are other publishers beside Farsight involved on various platforms (and even the same system platform (Switch) but different from digital and physical media platform). Also, the pricing can be quite different from one platform to another. It really is quite a mess.
